The Warehouse is a contemporary art space located at 1643 Chattahoochee Avenue NW in Atlanta's Westside District. Established by John Wieland, founder of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, and his late wife, Sue, the 39,000-square-foot facility showcases their private collection of over 400 works by more than 250 national and international artists, all centered around the theme of house and home.
The collection encompasses various media, including painting, photography, sculpture, installation art, ceramics, textile art, and video/film. After extensive renovations, The Warehouse opened to the public on April 13, 2024, offering free admission with advance reservations on the second Saturday of each month. Visitors can explore thematic galleries that delve into concepts of domesticity, memory, fantasy, and architecture, reflecting the Wielands' passion for art and home.
